FAA, Policy

The FAA has released the latest iteration of their instructions for processing PMA Applications: Order 8110.42C. One of the most interesting changes in the Order is the addition of instructions describing an acceptable Continued Operational Safety (COS) Program. The FAA guidance mirrors the Industry COS Guidance developed in partnership with the FAA and published by MARPA. This is an excellent resource for additional guidance on the implementation of an effective COS Program.
