FAA Strategic Plan Open for Public Comment

The 2009-2013 Draft Flight Plan is now available for review. The strategic plan addresses the FAA’s plans for, and recent accomplishments related to, increasing safety, increasing capacity and providing international leadership.

The public has been invited to provide the FAA with thoughts and recommendations on the FAA’s plan for the coming years. The plan is so vague and ‘strategic,’ though that it will be hard to provide meaningful comments because the forward-looking elements of the plan are really little more than an aspirational document.

The public comment period closes on August 22.
